Even in economically difficult times the Coffee Shop Aal al-Bayt remains a well-attended meeting place in the centre of Luxor. Many visitors have been regular customers here for years, sometimes passing by daily or even several times a day to be pampered by the offer and the atmosphere of the coffee house. As a rule visitors can also borrow free backgammon or chess sets for use in the Coffee Shop Aal al-Bayt.
